Slacker...

Man...I am such a slacker when it comes to this blog! Maybe, it's because I feel like I am not interesting enough to write about...or it could be that by the time I think of doing a post Aselin decides that it's time to wake up and play!!

I am very proud to say that I am almost 100% ready for Christmas...the house is decorated, the tree is up, presents are bought, wrapped and under the tree (or sent to the appropriate house), Christmas cards are sent, baking is under way and I just have to finish shopping for the actual Christmas dinner once it get's closer to the day! This is a huge accomplishment for me because I am usually such a procrastinater when it comes to Christmas...like one of those Christmas Eve shoppers at the gas station buying people gifts like an oil funnel or air freshners...well okay, I'm not THAT bad, but you get the picture!
Aselin is pretty much back to her normal self...thank God. The teething seems to have subsided for now at least and she is back to my happy girl! Well...on occasion she is happy! She is still on the roll of liking to sleep from about 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and be up until about 2:00 a.m. which isn't good for this old goat!
We started our girl on rice cereal about two weeks ago and she absoloutly LOVES it! It is the cutest thing to watch her eat food. We also gave her a rice cracker the other day and she demolished it! My baby is growing up so fast! Here is a picture just to show you how incredibly cute she is!!!

First Time Eating Cereal

Just finished her rice cracker..."Pwease Momma...Can't I have just one more???"

And you'll never guess what just happened.....ASELIN IS AWAKE!!! It is currently 10:19 p.m. and she is staring at me smiling in her swing....How do you kick a smiling baby back to bed?? She is just too darn cute!! Hehe.

I also promise to start updating my blog regularly!!
